  Buying installed carpeting is often as tricky as buying a car! So many grades, styles, conflicting information. I set out to find an independent family business and was fortunate to discover Kenny's in Johnsburg IL. They are 5+ stars! From Kenny (owner) to his family staff (I worked with Taylor, his daughter) they were top notch in guiding me through the selection process. I'm writing this review mid-process as the installation will be done in late October but I expect the same quality of service and attention to details throughout.
  If you live in Northern Illinois, Kenny's is your go-to carpet retailer. Don't be suckered in by the big boxes as Kenny's meets or beats their pricing and delivers uncommon service.
